When I joined the staff in 1999, the gym (Community Life Center) and classroom addition had just been completed. The Church Leadership considered whether a full-time custodian was needed. Now a quarter century later and bearing the title of Director of Operations, I can confirm it was. My responsibilities have grown, as well as the team, to keep this facility clean and ready for ministry.
I have lived my life within a 10 mile radius, I have been a printer, grill cook, but the majority of my life has been here serving at Berean. My wife, Darlene and I were married in 1983 and have worked side by side for well over 40 years. We have 3 sons and 6 grandchildren.
I took up running at age 55 and have completed numerous half marathons as well as lesser races. I love taking walks with Darlene and time at the beach. (Walks on the beach are a win/win!)
