Hi! I’m Alex Rivas and I have been on staff at Berean since 2020. I am originally from Chicago and moved to Mansfield to work in the student ministry at Berean. I love all things big city but am so grateful for working at Berean and the experiences I’ve had here so far! Working with students is my passion and I live to see them come to know Jesus and to grow in Him. I also love empowering parents with resources and books to help them in the discipleship of their kids. Check out our student page that’s always being updated with new and fresh stuff for parents!
I am married to Alyssa who is a kindergarten teacher at Mansfield Christian School. We are both graduates of the Moody Bible Institute and we love to serve in ministry together. We have also been blessed with a joyful girl, Ellie.
I am an avid gamer of all forms! My favorite board game is 7 Wonders Duel and my favorite video game is Super Smash Bros. My wife and I love trying coffee from the local shops like Nickel and Bean or Frenchie Roast. I look forward to meeting you!
