A Note from Dan

Greetings!

My name is Dan Krause and my family and I can’t wait to meet you in person!  But until then, I’d like to introduce you to my family and tell you a little bit about us.  Kelli and I have four great kids and two beautiful granddaughters.  Our boys, Elijah and Isaiah are still in the home.  Our girls are older and have moved out of the house.  Ashley is married with two little girls of her own and Hanna is a student at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix.

We are originally from Southeast Michigan, but lived in Alaska for the past 10 years.  We have served in a couple of ministry roles during that time, and have planted two churches.  I was also afforded the opportunity to have worked five years for the Alaska Aces (professional hockey team) as their On-Ice Host and team chaplain.  That role gave me a unique connection to the community and allowed for lots of great ministry opportunities.

After a fruitful tenure in Alaska God moved our family in January of 2020 to Mansfield, Ohio to serve as Lead Pastor at Berean Baptist Church.

As a family, we enjoy spending time outdoors, farming, hunting, and fishing.  We have raised about every kind of farm animal and operated our own small family dairy.  We also spend a good amount of time around a hockey rink.  As I mentioned earlier, I worked in professional hockey for five years, I also coached for several years.  Elijah currently plays for a hockey team in central Ohio.

There is so much more to share with you!  And, we can’t wait to have the opportunity to get to know you!

In Christ,
Dan Krause
