1. Tell us a little about yourself? Where are you from?
Hi, my name is Katie Seher, and I’m from Bellville, Ohio. I just finished my sophomore year of nursing school at Cedarville University.
2. What is your connection to Berean? Involvement in Church/SURGE?
I’ve been attending Berean since 3rd grade and have loved participating in Adventure Club, volunteering in Berean kids, SURGE, worship team, and summer missions trips.
3. Why this internship?
I’m so excited to intern at Berean specifically for Berean kids! I have a special place in my heart for kids ministry because I can clearly recall the impact it had in my walk with the Lord. Kids are small, but can have mighty faith. They are pure of heart and sincere in prayer which is SO powerful! I can still remember all the volunteers in the kids ministry who took me seriously and loved me well and I know I would not be where I am today without them 🙂
4. What is your life verse and why? (or a verse that is important to you)
Romans 8:28 “and we know in all these things, God works for the good of those who love Him and have been called according to His purpose” I love this verse because it reminds me that no matter what happens in life good or bad I can trust that God is working good especially when I can’t see it. His ways are higher than our ways and His thoughts are Higher than our thoughts, we can trust Him!
5. Where do you see yourself in five years?
In 5 years I hope to be working full time as an RN using my work to share the love of Christ with patients and co-workers. I hope to be fully active in my church worshipping with my brothers and sisters in Christ.
6. How can the church pray for you?
Berean can pray that this summer would be a season of growth for me in the Lord, that He would teach, grow, and humble me for His work. Please also pray for the ministry of Berean during this crazy time that it would be magnifying to God and people would know and love Him more because of His work.
